While spending a semester during her undergraduate years in South Africa, Dr. Katie worked with a wildlife veterinarian who treated a variety of animals including giraffes, rhinos and buffalo. This amazing experience began her journey to veterinary medicine. Dr. Katie’s volunteer work at the Toronto Humane Society led to her working there, caring for small animals, observing surgeries and assisting a veterinarian in her fellowship research on feline upper respiratory infections.

Dr. Kaytlyn Wise

Pets: Blair (cat)

Dr. Kaytlyn Wise completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph. She has always had an interest in the ways that veterinary medicine can further the human-animal bond, and the health of both. She graduated with her DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) in 2015 from the Ontario Veterinary College. Currently she is pursuing graduate studies in Public Health in addition to working in the clinic part time.
